Bogambara is taking inmates again in two weeks - we walked past it tonight, is that a problem
Used the Bogambara side this afternoon to get toward the loop because someone said it was the walkable edge. News 1st at 11.47: old prison 90 percent renovated, inmates in about two weeks, officers being posted. It looked like a building site with a wall. Did we just loiter on a soon-to-be prison approach.

Old Bogambara closed in 2014, gazetted back as a prison in July, and they said today admissions are ~two weeks out. Tonight it is still a landmark on the walk, not a yard you can wander into. Do not photograph sentries or climb anything. The walkable edge for the Perahera is a public street. Tomorrow it will still be a public street.
