It depends on your sleep tolerance Beachfront cabanas offer amazing views but they are directly next to the massive loud beach parties that go until 4 AM You will not sleep The inland homestays just 5 minutes walking off the main road are incredibly peaceful half the price usually include an amazing home cooked breakfast and the hosts treat you like family I highly recommend inland

If you are carrying a heavy surfboard beachfront is convenient but you can always just leave your board at a locker in a surf shop

Inland is way better Plus the beachfront wooden cabanas get insanely hot during the day because they trap the humidity
