Royal Botanical Gardens on Sunday during Perahera week. Do we go at opening for a calmer walk, or is it packed enough that we should skip for another day.

Opening is still the calmer window. Midday coach waves and heat make the same paths feel crowded and sticky.

Carry water and keep the visit focused. You do not need every corner on a Randoli day.

If you already did a dawn lake loop, a short gardens hour is plenty. Save legs for tonight.
