I have a valid prescription for my ADHD meds. Will I have any trouble bringing a 30-day supply into Sri Lanka?

As long as the medication is in its original pharmacy bottle with your name clearly printed on the label, AND you carry a physical copy of the doctor’s prescription/letter, you will be completely fine. Do not bring more than a 30-day supply.

Be aware that Adderall (Amphetamine salts) is technically a heavily restricted substance in SL compared to Ritalin (Methylphenidate). Keep it in your carry-on with the doctor's note prominently attached.

I brought my Ritalin last year. Customs didn’t even look in my medical bag, but it gave me peace of mind having the doctor's letter translated.

Thank you! I'll ask my doctor to write a formal letter just to be safe.
