The Sri Lankan customs authority does not strictly limit the amount of local alcohol you can export provided it is packed securely in your checked luggage. However the hard limit is dictated entirely by the customs laws of your destination country.

Most European countries and the UK allow you to bring in one to two liters of hard spirits duty free. You must check the specific import limits of your home country to avoid having your bottles confiscated or heavily taxed upon arrival.
