I see clay pots of "curd" everywhere in the south. Is it like yogurt? When do you eat it?

It is Buffalo Curd (mee kiri). It is much thicker, creamier, and tangier than supermarket yogurt. We eat it as a dessert or breakfast. Always serve it with Kithul Treacle (palm syrup).

Pro tip: make sure it is authentic buffalo curd. Some cheap roadside versions are cow milk mixed with gelatin, which isn't the same.
