Bulletin 01 still on the Met sheet for Wednesday — move the Anuradhapura sacred-city loop to first light or is Caution only a midday problem
We sleep in the new town. Partner wants the dagabas at 6. Host says Bulletin 01 Caution is Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Monaragala, valid 2 Sep, so we should skip the sacred city entirely. That feels like a seal. We have hats, water, no toddler.

First light is the ordinary move. Bulletin 01 is Caution for North-Central including us, valid Wednesday 2 Sep, daytime heat index — not a sacred-city closure and not Extreme. Walk early, shade by late morning, water on the belt. Host is mixing a sheet with a padlock. Do not invent an all-clear either; the sheet is still valid.
We did the loop before 9, sat a cafe after. Fine. Midday bicycle pride is how you meet a clinic.
