Intercity bus from Colombo would not enter the inner grid. Driver dropped us on a diverted road after 6:53. Which two-way walk still reaches a remaining stretch.

Ask for Gopallawa or Old Peradeniya and walk from there. Do not try to push the bus back toward the lake once the line is moving.

We got off at a junction the conductor named and walked. The next bus that promised the hotel just sat.
