The cafe on the outer stretch is closing and unplugging the public USB we were using. Sprint to hotel charge, or tough it out. Not short charge cable hotel sprint from the curb center, and not power-bank sellers circulating.

When the USB dies, hotel charge is the clean plan — thank them and walk outer. Toughing it out into brick territory with a tired group is worse. Agree the curb pin before the charger person leaves.
