Want a long indoor lunch so we are not walking in showers all afternoon. Which cafes near the lake still have seats on a wet Tuesday.

Look one street back from the lake; indoor rooms fill slower than the terrace tables everyone photographs.

We sat indoors two streets back and still got a table at noon; the lake terraces were already a wet shuffle of people waiting.

Ask for a table away from the door so wet arrivals do not drip on you, and order rice and curry if you want something that holds.
