Tight day. Morning around Katunayake, bags stored, evening board. Does this work?

If you need a seat through the hill, reserve. From Katunayake an ordinary unreserved hop with bags is a gamble at busy hours. Observation talk is a blog, not a ticket class.

We reserved Kandy-Ella and stopped stressing. Unreserved was fine on a quieter midweek board with small bags.

If you are tired, stay near the bus stand or town centre in Katunayake and skip the extra viewpoint. Pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first. Cards are a maybe, not a plan.
