Partner has the key card and we are stuck in the lobby with sleepy kids. Can they finish a quiet nap on lobby sofas without going back up, or will staff mind. Not hotel babysitting, and not a quiet lobby corner to read during dessert.

Ask the desk politely — many lobbies allow a short quiet sit if kids stay supervised and phones stay silent.

If the lobby is busy, a quiet lounge chair around the corner is better than blocking the entrance sofas.
