For a more tangible experience: some eco-lodges (Ceylon Tea Trails, Rainforest Rescue International) let you plant a tree during your stay. Better than pure carbon math — you see the actual tree. Ceylon Bird Club and Nature Conservation Society welcome donations for local reforestation.
