Toddler, shade hat, one afternoon. Postcard says Casuarina is gentle. Is it actually a long shallow, or do we keep feet in the wash and treat flags as real?

Casuarina can be a long gentle wade when the sea is behaving, which is not a promise. Keep the toddler where you can stand, watch the flags if they are up, and do not walk out because a reel did. Shade is the casuarina line; bring water. If leftover wind is named, it is a look, not a swim.

We stayed knee-deep. Toddler happy, we still had skin left. Fine.

No lifeguard story you can count on. You are the watch.

Tuk wait in the shade, do not leave a toddler to 'run to the trees'.

Screenshot maps in town. Bars lie inland. Casuarina with a toddler still the pin we actually have.
