Our child is asleep standing with knees locked this late. Peel to the hotel now, or wait for one more denser block. Not toddler asleep on a shoulder, not toddler meltdown walk-back, and not kids past bedtime still bright on the curb.

Standing sleep is a hard peel cue. Carry them out on the outer pavement and use hotel live if anyone still wants pictures. Waiting for a denser block with a locked-knee kid is how you get a fall.

One adult carries, the other holds the curb pin in sight — then both peel together.

Do not let the rest of the group veto a safety peel for a standing-sleep child.
