Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Queen facade in leftover daylight. Quiet courtyard curiosity. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. White set still damp on a chair.
