CMB arrivals after the late Doha hop — Dialog desk here or hotel wifi until a Monday shop
Sunday 30 Aug, landed 00:40. Partner wants a SIM before the Negombo sleep. Arrivals desk looks tired. City shops are shut until Monday. Two phones, ordinary data, not trying to be cheap for sport. Festival week is leftover in our legs, not a reason to hunt a car-park POS.

Buy at arrivals if the desk is the official counter and you can photograph the passport page. Sunday city shops are shut. I will not invent an arrivals surcharge. If the queue is a story, take a night of hotel wifi and do a proper Dialog on Monday. Do not follow a cousin into the car park with a POS.
We bought arrivals, eSIM also worked on one phone. Fine. Screenshot the balance before you leave the hall.
Kids: one adult queues, the rest sit. Pride hunts a cheaper stall and melts at 01:00.
City shop on Monday is calmer if you can live on wifi tonight. Arrivals is ordinary, not a scam by default.
