PickMe app is cheaper (~4000-6000 LKR to central Colombo) and works fine at CMB - drivers stage in the airside pickup zone. Taxi counter inside terminal charges 5500-8000 LKR fixed. Difference is convenience: counter = walk straight from bags to booked car, no app hassle. PickMe = 5-10 min wait but ~30% cheaper. Late night (after 11pm), counter is more reliable.

Pre-book a hotel transfer if it's your first arrival late at night - USD 30-45 typical for a private car. Removes decision fatigue after long flight. Worth it once.
