Flight gets in around evening. Going to Kegalle. I can follow a pin. What would you do with normal luggage?

CMB to Kegalle: pin a live driver when you can, or write a tuk fare if that's the hop. Prebooked cars are a hotel product — fine, just know you're paying for certainty. I won't invent a night timetable.

PickMe from CMB was ordinary. We didn't bargain on the kerb. That was the whole trick.

If you're tired, stay nearer the bus stand / town centre in Kegalle and skip chasing a perfect sunset. Pull cash in Colombo, Kandy, or Galle first — cards are a maybe. Locals will tell you if a ticket is counter-only.
