A covered arcade walk is a normal wet-day Fort; pick one indoor cafe and skip the open clock-tower stretch if a burst is heavy.

We did York Street shop cover and ducked twice. It was still a city afternoon, just slower.

If you are tired, one arcade and a tea is enough. Do not add a Pettah hop in the wet with bags.
