We are in Colombo, not Kandy. Tap in the room is still empty after this morning water scare. Bottled run now, or wait for the tap to come back.

Buy a sealed branded pack now and use that for drinking; do not wait on a Colombo tap that was cut this morning as a precaution.

Our Fort hotel tap came back late morning but ran brown for a minute; we still bought a six-pack and are using that for drinking.

If you are in Kotte or Nugegoda, do not wait on the tap; those pockets were named for delays. Shop bottles and keep the kettle for washing only.
