A mid-afternoon arrival into Kandy is a maybe for 6:53, not a plan. Getambe crawls. If the bus is late you own a cafe and a shoulder view. Dump bags at Ampitiya if that is the room, tuk in with a written number. Seated Colombo-Kandy is the right vehicle. Standing is a choice, not a badge.
We left a buffer and still walked the last bit. Fine. Pride times the listed start from a group chat and then sulks.
Sleep Ampitiya, early tuk, hold pavement. The intercity is not a procession taxi.
Stay on if the clock is a procession. Gampola is for the way in, not a linger.
