Corridor noise from other Second Randoli returners. Earplugs okay or too rude. Not ear-fatigue-peel-without-guilty-goodbye, and not ears-still-ringing-after-street-silent frames.

Foam earplugs in the room are normal traveler gear — you are not shushing the corridor, just sleeping.

A polite soft voice to a loud door once is fine; then earplugs and a white-noise app beat a hallway argument.
