We are in a Peradeniya room leftover from Friday. Cousin in a group chat says 'they always do a Monday extra'. I do not want to pay a balcony for air. Festival ended Friday 28. Ordinary Monday?

No Kandy restart. Esala ended Friday 28. Monday 31 is ordinary town. Maligawa courtyard is a shoes-off visit, not a cortege. Anyone selling a Monday kerb is selling air. Sleep, or go south/east. Do not invent a second Grand.

We walked Dalada at noon like tourists with shoulders covered. Fine. No drums, no chairs.

If you still have white cloth damp from Friday, wash it. You will not need it tonight.
