As of 2026 Sri Lanka has no entry restrictions related to COVID — no vaccine proof, no PCR test required. Masks not mandatory anywhere. However, respiratory illnesses circulate as everywhere. Bring: KN95 masks (crowded transit only), hand sanitizer, basic flu meds.

If you catch respiratory illness: rest, hydrate, private hospital consultation if fever >3 days or severe symptoms. Antivirals (Paxlovid, Molnupiravir) available at private pharmacies with prescription — 15000-30000 LKR for course. Isolation not required legally.
