One person cannot do shellfish. Rest want Jaffna food. Hopper house instead of a crab room, or split the group for one meal?

Hopper house together. Splitting the group on night one in a new town is how someone gets lost and hungry. Jaffna is more than crab. Egg hoppers, pittu, a vegetarian plate. Crab can be a lunch later for the people who can eat it, not a test for the person who cannot.
