Crow Island is actually a beautiful small coastal park located right at the mouth of the Nilwala River in Matara not a true island that requires a boat.

It is completely free of massive tourist crowds and offers a very relaxed authentic atmosphere making it a fantastic spot to watch the sunset after exploring the Matara Fort.
