Curb chatter about when the cortege usually bends back toward the Maligawa. Treat as rumor only, or is there a traveler cue besides animal counts. Not inventing a return clock, not which troupes are left, and not counting elephants as how-much-left.

Treat clock claims as rumor. Soft cues are denser ceremonial stretches, palanquin or randoli visibility from your curb, and locals shifting toward exit lines — still not official. Animal counts alone mislead. Stay until your group is done, then leave on outer pavement.
