Curb is still shiny from the afternoon showers. We are standing on a remaining stretch. Newspaper or a bag under the kids feet, or move them back to a drier doorway.

A folded paper or a shop bag under their feet is fine. A drier doorway two steps back is better if the keeper nods. Do not stand them in the puddle all night.

We used a supermarket bag and rotated them every few minutes. The shiny paint was the slip, not the water.
