31 Aug, leftover rain on the Bentota stones. Partner wants the stretch before breakfast. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. I do not want a sprain. Locals, please contradict the group chat. With a damp room and a kettle, 31 Aug. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Wait. The Bentota stones stay slick until late morning after leftover rain. Sandals on that stretch is how you meet the clinic in town. Walk the inside lane in the shade, do the wall when it is dull and dry. Nobody is closing Bentota. It is just wet. I will not invent a fee to walk it.
