If you want the departure, be near Asgiri / D.S. Senanayake early. If you want the temple loops, Raja Veediya is the better wait. Do not try to chase the whole line in the afternoon heat.
We picked Raja Veediya last Day year. Saw the square loops clean. Missed the Asgiri start and did not mind.
Pick one. Moving with bags between those streets in a crowd is how you lose the kids.
