Honestly split. Dahawal Perahera is listed 2:18 PM on Friday 28 Aug. Festival ends after that. Can we do Maligawa morning and Dahawal afternoon. Bags are in a guesthouse that will not hold past eleven and the kid is already asking if we are going or not.

Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at 2:18 PM. The grid is cones and shoulders. the palace-wall shade strip you reach on foot with bottles already bought. We used a baby carrier, not a stroller, on the palace-wall shade strip for Final Randoli. Stroller people were parked in doorways looking miserable. Carrier was the whole trick. Kids change the trade.
