Data is thin near the grid so I am asking here. Dahawal Perahera is listed 2:18 PM on Friday 28 Aug. Festival ends after that. Is it a shorter loop or the same slog in heat. I will screenshot whatever you say and stop refreshing Facebook live.

Agree a tuk drop on Peradeniya Road or Katugastota Road, not on Raja Veediya at 2:18 PM. The grid is cones and shoulders. Deva Veediya wall you reach on foot with bottles already bought. Dahawal is the day procession at 2:18 PM, not a night replay. Kinder for kids and elders, harsher sun. No Saturday Kandy restart after it. An elder changes the trade.

We used a baby carrier, not a stroller, on Deva Veediya wall for Final Randoli. Stroller people were parked in doorways looking miserable. Carrier was the whole trick. Bags change the trade — dump them.

Cash before you sit. The stall behind Deva Veediya wall wants notes. Card machines pretend to exist. Then tea, then the room.
