Checked out this morning but want a quiet room to nap before tonight. Can we book a day-use hotel room in Kandy just for the afternoon.

Several mid-range places will sell a day-use block if you call mid-morning — say nap before First Randoli, not a full night. Confirm the day-use window in writing.

If day-use is full, a pool day pass plus a quiet lobby corner is a weaker backup — still better than walking exhausted.
