Kid asked. Adult energy is leftover. Monday zoo crowds maybe. I will not invent a closed zoo. Need an honest local on whether it is a kind morning.

If the kid actually wants animals, go early, shade, water, leave before midday. Zoo is open. If the kid asked once and is already melting, Fort ice cream and a train. Do not make it a duty.
