21 Aug, elder plus one, one stick, ordinary bags. We want a sit. Dialog Kandy desk looks priced like a postcard. Colombo Street ATM has a local queue.

Walk two minutes if you can. Do the SIM in the morning; dead maps after 6:40 are on you. Nobody is scamming you at Dialog Kandy desk; they are pricing for the terrace. I will not invent a cover charge. One drink if you want the photo, then leave.

Leave a buffer. Agree the fare before you sit. Do not cut it to twenty minutes at Dialog Kandy desk and then argue in a jam.

If it is steaming at desk queue, sit. If not, pack fruit and walk to Colombo Street ATM. Biscuits in the bag anyway. The wait is the hungry part.
