Companion to lamps-dimmer and last-tuk. Partner is still on the step because the lamps just changed, maybe a tuk is coming. I think dimmer lamps plus this late is the fleet gone, not a signal. Come inside, or five more minutes of being the tourist on a dark kerb.

Come inside. A dark kerb this late is not a rank. Wootler: unattended vehicles - you standing next to a rental on a dim street is the adjacent lecture.
