Kids refuse a nap after this wet indoor day. Dim the room for a quiet hour before we dress for 6:53, or let them stay loud.

Dim the room, books only, lights down; a quiet hour is not a nap fight and it still takes the edge off.

We called it quiet time not nap and they actually lay down. Forcing sleep made yesterday worse.

One story and water, then sit on the beds. A new cartoon is the opposite of quiet.
