Phone at lunch. After dark is leftover matching. Some rooms can still place you. Some will shrug. Do not discover the shrug at 9 p.m. I will not invent a booking app.

If you cannot phone, pick a town with more desks and arrive willing to walk in the morning. Worse plan, still a plan.
