Someone keeps forwarding an old marine warning that names Hambantota-Pottuvil. I will not treat that as a 19 Aug fact. Look at a current board and the water, yes?

Yes. Do not treat a leftover marine sheet as today's fact. Look at a current notice if you can, and look at the water in front of you. I am not declaring an Amber. Lagoon versus ocean is a today call. Skip boats if the skipper is unsure. No invented closures.

Ignored the forwarded sheet, looked at the water, sat the sand. Fine.

Current board was a shrug, skipper unsure, we skipped the boat.

Old PDFs are not a 19 Aug pin.

Screenshot maps in town. Bars lie inland. Do not treat a Hambantota-Pottuvil marine sheet still the pin we actually have.

Stick to the road. Driver who knows. Bags in the van. Do not treat a Hambantota-Pottuvil marine sheet still the pin we actually have.
