Ask him which two-way road he can actually sit on. William Gopallawa or Old Peradeniya. Then walk out to that pin. Do not make him nose into the occupied streets.

We sent him a live pin on Gopallawa and walked the outer ring. He never entered the grid.

If he says Mahaiyawa, that is a longer walk but a real wait. Better than a cancelled pin on Dalada Veediya.
