Drivers outside the ring already quoting end-of-parade prices while troupes are still dense. Walk farther out for a normal meter or app ride, or expect that rate until the parade finishes anyway. Not inventing an official fee, not tuk while crossings locked as the same ask, and not Grab surge at climax.

Walk farther out toward lit app-pickup pins when you can — ring-edge drivers often quote finish prices early. There is no official end-of-parade fare to match. If the group is exhausted, pay what you must once, but try PickMe or a hotel desk call before accepting the first shout.

Quietly pre-book a pickup pin outside the lock if the app still offers it.

Keep backup cash so you are not stuck arguing rates with a dead phone.
