27 Aug, D.S. Senanayake Veediya, with a sceptical teen. Room is Peradeniya. Last night in town. Need a local, not a brochure. If the festival continues to 28th Diya/Dahawal, do not pack us like it ends on the kerb tonight.

Stay on to Kandy if the night is the kerb. Halt is for rooms already out here. Last tuk uphill after drums is ordinary if you agree the fare first. Do not invent a reserved street.

We sat two lanes in. One soda was enough. On 'Peradeniya Junction halt versus staying on to Kandy stat' — board, not desk.

We did not invent a fee. Desk tried. We walked. D.S. Senanayake Veediya was the pin.
