Early afternoon was dry on the lake - why does the phone still show 0.1 later

This afternoon around the lake it stayed dry while friends texted rain icons. Foreca still shows 0 mm earlier then 0.1 through late afternoon into 6pm. Do we trust the dry we felt, or pack the compact umbrella for the 0.1 strip into 6:28.

On the 16:55 board Kandy goes 0 mm early afternoon then 0.1 from mid-afternoon through 6pm (light rain label at 6pm, 31%, gusts 29).
