31 Aug, leftover rain on the Trincomalee stones. Partner wants the stretch before breakfast. Ordinary bags, one pair of sandals. I do not want a sprain. Locals, please contradict the group chat. East catch-up versus leftover south flags. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Wait. The Trincomalee stones stay slick until late morning after leftover rain. Sandals on that stretch is how you meet the clinic in town. Walk the inside lane in the shade, do the wall when it is dull and dry. Nobody is closing Trincomalee. It is just wet. I will not invent a fee to walk it.

We took the quieter fork at Trincomalee. Fine. No one clapped.

Hang the damp set. Packing wet for a hop is how rooms smell. We grabbed a 450g loaf for the van. Plus-ten is the shop loaf, not a guesthouse basket I will invent.

Rice was still steaming two streets off. First grill was tired oil.

Prepaid pin if the clock is real. Not the first cousin.

Leave with a buffer. Desk stories are stories. Walk the last cones.

Write the board. A leftover-rain rumour is not a timetable.
