Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Asgiriya approach before 2:18. Damp white shirt. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork.

Friday Kandy is ordinary town. Courtyard if you cover and the queue is not a story. Then leave. Dahawal 2:18 is optional daylight, not a night kerb. No restart. Lived pin: Asgiriya approach before 2:18.
Wrote 110 before we sat. After leftover drums the numbers get creative.
Walked out of the cones, then a tuk. PickMe from the kerb was a joke.
Fort cobbles still slick. Waited until they were dull. No sprain.
Paid the short hop with a kid. Pride would still be bargaining in leftover drizzle.
