Uncle will not survive two hours of sun on Dalada Veediya. Second Kumbal listed 6:41. Lobby until close to the listed start, or do we lose any gap by arriving at 18:10 like tourists who timed a firework.

Lobby until about 18:10, then a short walk, is the kinder plan for an elder. Holding pavement from 17:00 cooks people. You will not get a front metre anyway if you need a wall and a sit. Pick shade, pick a gap, leave when he drops.

AC town room tonight even if Peradeniya is cheaper. Stairs plus drums plus heat is the stack that ends nights.

If you cannot stand the wait, a real balcony is the honest spend. A plastic chair in the sun is not shade.

West side of the street cooks later. If you must hold pavement, hunt the shadow line.

Sit-mat, water, electrolytes. We did lobby-then-walk. Saw plenty. Missed the first flags. Fine.

Electrolytes more than a jumper. Heat drops people before the first drum.

I stand. Uncle sits in AC until we call. Split the group honestly.
