Elderly relative wants to leave now while one adult stays for the tusker. Safe to split with a fixed shop landmark. Not rejoining elderly at the hotel as the whole plan, and not a second-adult hotel livestream pin war.

Yes if you fix a shop name and doorway photo, share live location once, and give the leaving adult a clear outer route toward the hotel. The staying adult should not chase the cortege after the split.

Prefer the elderly leave with the stronger walker — tusker photos are not worth a lost relative in the crush.
