eSIM QR will not scan in a dark Jaffna shop — physical SIM now or wait for a brighter counter
QR failed twice. Shop is dim. We still need data toward Elephant Pass tomorrow. Physical SIM now, or hunt a brighter Dialog/Mobitel counter?

Physical SIM at a bright counter. A dark shop fighting a QR is how you lose an hour and still have no data. Passport, ordinary pack, screenshot the number. Do not buy from a tray on the road. You can keep the eSIM as a maybe later; tonight you need a working radio.
Waited for a brighter counter in the morning. Also fine if you can sit the night on Wi-Fi.
Elder changes the trade. Pay the boring extra. eSIM QR will not scan in a dark Jaffna shop still the pin we actually have.
Screenshot maps in town. Bars lie inland. eSIM QR will not scan in a dark Jaffna shop still the pin we actually have.
