Negombo guesthouse, 01:30, leftover humidity. Fan moves warm air. Desk wants an AC extra that was not in the booking. Kid needs sleep. I am not trying to be cheap for sport. I am trying not to cook an uncle.

Pay the AC if an elder or a kid is melting. The extra should be written, not invented at 01:30 because 'festival week leftover'. If they will not write it, open the window, coil, sleep. I will not invent a municipal mosquito colour. Ordinary August night. Pride refuses the AC and then owns a 03:00 argument.

Coil plus fan was enough for two of us. Uncle needed AC. Split the room if you must.
